There will be a new 7″ tablet releasing on the market in May, named the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. The tablet announcement comes with a few stats that will compliment its smaller size.
The GALAXY Tab 3 7″ tablet will have a new design and “enhanced capabilities” according to Samsung, all designed to to easily held with one-hand. The new tablet will feature a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB of storage depending on model (but with expansion up to 64GB), a 3-megapixel camera rear camera and 1.3 -megapixel front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will run on Jelly Bean 4.1, the Wi-Fi only model will release in May (perfect for Mother’s Day) while the 3G model will launch in June. There was no mention of a LTE version during today’s announcement.
