From the Tribeca Film Festival, Beyond Two Souls ‘Breathe Me’

This evening on a beautiful New York day, I spent my time in lower Manhattan at the ‘Beyond: Two Souls’ pannel at the Tribeca Film Festival.

‘Beyond: Two Souls’ is one of the few games that have ever been in attendance at the film festival, joining the ranks of other terrific games like ‘L.A. Noire’ from Rockstar Games. There was a live Q&A with writer/director David Cage and the star Ellen Page, as well as the supporting cast members Kadeem Hardison and Eric Winter. Taking center stage however was the 3 minute video (no spoilers) of terrific, awe-inspiring craftwork that will be ‘Beyond: Two Souls’.

I’ll have a more detailed write-up of the event later on this week, but I wanted to share the video that was presented to us at the panel. If you have ever played the previous Quantic Dream’s title ‘Heavy Rain’, then I don’t have to tell you of the enormous effort that the development company puts into the story-line of their titles. Sit back and watch the trailer and I’ll let you decide for yourself.
