Turns out America isn’t that interested when other people are ready for love. NBC shut down the series as fast as Liz Lemon would shut down ‘B**** Hunters’.
The dating show only aired two episodes, but that was all the information NBC needed to pull the plug on the project. The show aired on the troubled Tuesday 10pm slot, which NBC has failed to successfully fill since the wrap of ‘Parenthood’. Now the popular fairytale world of ‘Grimm’ will take the 10pm slot, at least until May 26. This also means that ‘Dateline’ will move to 9pm starting on Friday, April 26.
The show was produced by the former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva Longoria, NBC did not state whether or not it would air any episodes it may have taped since the second episode. The broadway series ‘SMASH’ was the last Tuesday night 10pm disappointment for NBC, which took over the time slot after the conclusion of ‘Parenthood’. It is highly expected that NBC will not be picking up ‘SMASH’ for a third-season.
