The latest, and assumably the last, trailer for the highly-anticipated film ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ has been released and it features one of the largest ships the Enterprise has even met.
The trailer focuses on the battle between Kirk (Chris Pine) and John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch). The video also focuses on Kirk’s infamous rash behavior, and how his actions may cause him the life of everyone on his ship…or his own.
Up against all odds it will be Kirk who will have to outwit the aggressor, which fans should know is Kirk’s specialty. This is technically the fourth trailer released for the film, but the third full-trailer depending on how you are counting. It is in fact the longest of all the trailers released so far, and dare we say, the best one yet. The film itself is scheduled to premier on May 17, 2013.
The film was directed by J.J. Abrams and written by Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci.
