One of the coolest new features of Facebook Home was the Chat Heads. Originally thought only to be a part of Home, it appears that a recent upgrade will bring this feature to anyone using the Facebook Messenger app.
Chat Heads is an awesome feature that you will either love, or find too invasive. Regardless of whatever app you are using, whether you are on your homescreen with no app opened, within an app, watching a video, playing a game…whatever, a Chat Head will pop up if you get a Facebook message. You can move this head around, respond to the message with a simple tap, or swipe the head off the screen completely to ignore.
Makes me wonder what other features of Home they will roll out to those phones that are not yet receiving the launcher. Hmmm……
