The remake of the 1976 film ‘Carrie’ is only a few months away and the first trailer gives horror-fans a brief look at what they can expect to see when the film debuts this October.
The role of Carrie will be played by Chloe Moretz in the Sony remake of the classic horror-title of the same name. The film ‘Carrie’ was based on the popular Stephen King novel, the original version starred Sissy Spacek as Carrie’s mother, and Piper Laurie as Carrie. The film will be directed by Kimberly Peirce with a screenplay by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
Julianne Moore can be spotted in the trailer, Moore will play Carrie’s mother in the film. Fans do have a little to wait however, the remake will debut in theaters on October 18, 2013, giving the launch a perfect Halloween setting.
