The highly anticipated sequel ‘Anchorman 2’ already has a gold-star lineup behind it. The original cast alone made the first installment an instant hit with fans and all of whom are returning. Now a few more stars are jumping on board.
There are the core players which include Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Christina Applegate; then there are the others. Big names like Harrison Ford, Kristen Wig, Greg Kinear and now Nicole Kidman are expected to lend their talents to the film.
It’s still unclear exactly what these cameo-roles would include, but even duos like Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson could be jumping in (both were in the original film). Kidman has three major films in the works, ‘Before I Go to Sleep’ which is currently filming, The Railway Men and ‘Grace of Monaco’ where she will poertrait Hollywood legend Grace Kelly.
If the film remains on schedule ‘Anchorman 2’ will release on December 20, 2013.
