Last Sunday was the premier of ‘Game of Thrones: Season 3’, and it was met with raving reviews from fans and critics alike who have been awaiting the start of the new season.
Now the Facebook game ‘Game of Thrones: Ascent’ will be updated every Monday to adjust to the progressing story from the show. The game went into a beta period last February, and the developers hope to incorporate the ever changing landscape and political battles that take place in the show within the new game.
The first update was “Episode 1: Valar Dohaeris” it was a mix of the Season 2 finale and the Season 3 premier, it even came with the addition of the ‘Battle of Blackwater Bay’ from the television series. Players can do a lot of customization and exploration of the show’s main narrative and experience more of the ‘Game of Thrones’ saga, by playing the game online. Players will of course have to choose between one of the major houses in Westeros (a tough decision). You will then develop your army, expand your trade and become involved in the political undertakings that the show is known for. Of course the title is a social game, allowing friends to team-up or betray their Facebook comrads in order to progress.
