The BBC has confirmed that there will be a few special moments during the 50th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’. One of the upcoming surprises will be the return of a few favorite stars.
David Tennant and Billie Piper will be featured in the upcoming special, set to reprise their original roles in the series. Also included is actor John Hurt. The special itself will be written by Steven Moffat and directed by Nick Hurran and the BBC promises an “all-star cast” to join Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman.
You still have a little while to wait however, the episode won’t premier until November 23, 2012 though it will be available in 3D. The image below was released on the official ‘Doctor Who: Facebook’ page, which shows the two Doctors reunited for a read-through of the upcoming episode’s script. More information is expected to be released as we get closer to the premier.
