If you are Windows 8 user that frequently uses Skype to keep in touch with family and friends, you will be prompted with a new update today in the Windows Store.
The update (v1.6) is the latest feature-bearing update from Microsoft this year for the popular video-app. Users will now have the ability to block contacts, something that was much needed in the service. Along with the blocking comes reporting and removal features and speedier load-times. Microsoft also claims that the update will offer stability improvements and will bring a few bug fixes.
If you would like to upgrade to the new and improved application, you can head on over to the Windows Store and download the new software fixes. This report comes via the official Skype blog, where the features and improvements were outlined earlier today.
