The ‘uncarrier’ press-event held by T-Mobile here in New York had a lot to offer anyone that is considering leaving their current cell-phone provider.
After it was announced that the iPhone 5 will be available on T-Mobile’s no-contract pricing plans, the company announced that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will also be available as an option. The phone will be made available on T-Mobile accounts on May 1, 2013.
If you buy the Galaxy S4 specifically, the phone will be locked until you pay off the phone (understandable) and will work on the T-Mobile LTE network which covers seven cities so far. The Samsung Galaxy S4 and the iPhone 5 will both be a viable option for anyone that wants to leave the world of biannual agreements and contracts. The iPhone 5 launches on T-Mobile on April 12, 2013 for a $99 down, $20 a month plan. That is the price of the iPhone 5, Blackberry Z10 and the HTC One, all of which are now available on T-Mobile.
