Borderlands 2 gets new playable character and a higher level cap
The next playable character to be added to the open-world hit title ‘Borderlands 2’ will be called ‘Kreig’. 2K Games made the announcement earlier today.
The DLC Vault Hunter was first teased at SXSW, now he has been featured at PAX 2013. The new DLC will come to Borderlands 2 as the ‘Psycho Pack’ and will be available in May for $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft points). In that pack you will get ‘Krieg’, a Psycho Bandit class that focuses on melee.
2K Games gave an official description of Krieg earlier today:
Wielding a buzz axe and harnessing his psychotic multiple personalities, Krieg is a badass melee mauler with ranged attack capabilities that can rip foes to shreds with his deadly Buzz Axe Rampage action skill. Players can stack combat bonuses with Krieg’s Bloodlust skill tree, live on the edge of insanity with the Mania tree, or engulf both enemies and yourself in flames with the Hellborn tree.
Also confirmed, the level cap will now be 61, that change will happen on April 2, 2013 with the ‘Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack’ and that will of course be included in the Season Pass. If you need a new challenge, there will be a third play through difficulty as well.
