Amazon cuts the price of Kindle Fire HD 8.9 to just $269

Amazon has reduced the price of the large Kindle Fire HD 8.9 for consumers in the United States. Customers can now pick up the new tablet straight from Amazon. Here are the new details.
The Kindle Fire HD 8.9 will be reduced to $269 for the Wi-Fi only model, the original price for the same tablet was $299 before the price-cut. If you choose to pick up the 4G LTE model of the same tablet you will save $100, the new price is only $399. Amazon announced the new price-point earlier today and the new prices are already reflective of the change.
