There has been a lot of recent buzz regarding the rumored Motorola X phone, the new upcoming flagship in the Google owned company. While there isn’t any news in that front, we have the next best thing…a look at the new Google inspired Motorola phone.
Enter Motorola model XT912A.
The XT912A looks like a pure stock device, and more of a mid-range phone than a higher end one. It sports a 4″ 720p display, 2GB RAM, Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2200mAh battery, and bears more than a passing resemblance to a Nexus phone (Google’s own entry into the smartphone game; pure stock Android). In fact, other than the Motorola Circle widget, there doesn’t seem to be anything else that would even indicated that this is a Moto phone.
Other features that you can see in the video above is the removal of the left-side Quick Toggle menu (too bad; that was really convenient) and stock on screen navigation buttons.
I own a Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD, and this new device could not be more different, even from an aesthetic standpoint. Gone is the big, bulky design and kevlar backing; the XT912A now has a nice curved shaped with an almost edge to edge display.
Again; is it me or is this basically a new Nexus 4?
