Gearbox teases Borderlands 2 sixth playable character at SXSW

Gearbox Software has released a few teasers for the next DLC pack for Borderlands 2, the open-world co-op saga will get a sixth playable character and it looks mean.

The latest teaser trailer was shown to the SXSW crowd, who were very excited to get more information on the game. The trailer was shown during Gearbox’s Jonathan Hemingway and Matthew Armstrong’s panel. The trailer ends with a melee crushing titan laying waste to everything in its path.

The original Borderlands title had Brick, who made an appearance in the sequel but a melee character was not included in the original quartet at Borderlands 2 launch. No confirmations as of yet, but you can expect more news over the coming weeks.
