As we move closer and closer to the premier of the next set of Star Wars films more and more information is being revealed about the cast. The latest factoid to be released is Carrie Fisher’s return to the series.
Harrison Ford has already been reported as signing on, once again as Han Solo. Now his Princess will be by his side once again. ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ will feature Carrie Fisher according the Palm Beach Illustrated who will once again be Luke Skywalker’s separated sister. Fisher talked about her own idea of how Leia would have aged since the last film she was in. When asked what Princess Leia is like today Fisher stated, “Elderly. She’s in an intergalactic old folks’ home”. Fisher followed up with “I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle”.
Fans still have quite a long wait before the film is released. ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ is currently scheduled to release in 2015 though the film is still in pre-production according to reports. J.J. Abrams will direct the film and we will keep you updated on the return of former cast members.
