The latest video-game from Activision is off to a terrific start, selling more than $500 million worldwide on day one according to the company's estimates. The title's publisher, Activision Publishing, announced today that the title brought in more than $500 million of Destiny-dollars into retail stores and first parties worldwide as of day one, making the game the biggest new video game franchise launch in history.
