Like many people her age Jennifer Lawrence has a lot going on, and a grueling shooting-schedule, multiple projects and traveling from location to location, doesn’t leave much time for her public relationship with actor Nicholas Hoult. Lawrence and Hoult did find time to work together this year though, both stars will be featured in the new X-Men installment ‘X-MEN Days of Future Past.’

For the most part though Lawrence and Hoult spend much of their time apart, we would call it a long-distance relationship but in Hollywood it’s quickly becoming the normal relationship with young stars. The 23 year-old Oscar winner revealed some of her techniques to keep the relationship going, while working as hard as the couple does. “When we’re busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other. Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn’t text back or call,” that’s what Lawrence told Marie Claire in an interview expected to hit stands this June. “Life’s super busy. Obviously you know what they’re doing, and you trust them,” she said.

Hoult is 24 years-old, and living a life that is almost completely parallel to Lawrence’s. She told the magazine that, “At least this way he’s in the same boat as I am: We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other.”

It’s a touching thought and one that is most likely shared with many young-people that are in the same situation as Lawrence and Hoult. There’s little debate that Lawrence wasn’t one of the most successful actors to have come out of the last few years, even though she herself has been an actor for much longer than that.

Lawrence dominates the silver-screen with films like ‘Hunger Games,’ ‘American Hustle,’ and ‘X-MEN,’ but it’s her off-screen demeanor that makes her such a hit with fans. Being America’s favorite, adorable-actor comes with a price and a shelf-life, one that Lawrence is aware of. “Nobody can stay beloved forever. I never believed it, the whole time. I was like, just wait: People are going to get sick of me. My picture is everywhere, my interviews are everywhere,” she told Marie Claire.

“I’m way too annoying because I get on red carpets and I’m really hyper, most likely because I’ve been drinking, and I can’t not photo-bomb somebody if it’s a good opportunity. But it’s something I always tell myself: ‘You need to calm the f— down. You don’t want to constantly be a GIF.’”

In the world of terrible Hollywood gossip, Lawrence’s relationship with Hoult made the headlines when Kristen Stewart and Hoult were photographed together for their upcoming film’Equals.’ “There was something in a magazine, and I was like ‘Oh, my God, that’s hilarious,’ because Kristen and I are friends,” she said in the interview. “I actually texted her a picture of it and was like, ‘Just so you know, this is absolutely true.’ ”

It’s impossible to guess when, or if, Lawrence’s popularity and seamless relatability with her fans will ever go out of style, but it is comforting to know that at least for the time being, America did choose an intelligent and talented young-star to put on its pedestal.
