Simon Pegg’s new film Hector and the Search for Happiness, gets a trailer Sean Thomas February 5, 2014 Film Simon Pegg fans have a new film to mark on their calendars, the title is ‘Hector and the Search for Happiness’ and the first trailer for the project was released earlier today. The film stars Simon Pegg as a London psychiatrist named, you guessed it, Hector. In the film Hector sets off an epic quest, to find happiness. Not just happy moments, but true happiness, and to confirm that it even exists in the world. The film is based on a popular fictional tale written by French psychiatrist François Lelord’s first novel back in 2010). The film has a well-rounded cast, but it’s not the traditional following of a Pegg film this time. The stars are Rosamund Pike, Christopher Plummer, Toni Collette, Stellan Skarsgard, and Jean Reno. The studio stopped short of announcing a release date for the U.S. market, but it will hit U.K. theaters in the fall of 2014.
