Positively Viral: Father builds pneumatic express carrier for Tooth Fairy (and kids) Sean Thomas September 13, 2013 Culture When it comes to making tangible magic and wonder, I don’t think anyone is going to beat Jeff Highsmith this week. The father of two decided to take the tooth fairy business into his own hands, by building a ‘pneumatic’ vacuum-controlled delivery system for his two sons so that they could send letters to Santa and teeth to the tooth fairy. The video shows how Jeff put the entire system together, in case you have the ability to do this on your own (we do not), so instead we will just marvel at the absolute charm that went into making this device. The supplies are quite simple though, 1.5″ PVC, central vacuum, two stations and a few tech-gadgets to control them all. We don’t want to ruin the expression from the kid, so we will let you watch the video for yourself. For the engineers, you can watch the whole thing being built from concept to completion. If you are here to see a very excited young child believe in magic (like we were) then you can skip ahead to (2:08).
