Hot of the heels of landing one of the leading roles in ABC’s new series “Mistresses,” Alyssa Milano will be the host of the upcoming series ‘Project Runway’. Milano’s hosting news was confirmed earlier today, here are the details.
The new season of Lifetime’s popular fashion-designer reality series will change gears as hosting duties goes to Alyssa Milano. This coming season will be called, “Project Runway All Stars” and THR is reporting that Alyssa Milano will host the new series with judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman.
This marks the third season of the popular reality show, production on the show will take place in New York City and is scheduled to begin this month. The show itself will premier later this fall on Lifetime. The network may have confirmed the new host, but the competitors have yet to be disclosed for the new season. Fans of the show should recognize the names Mondo Guerra from season one and Anthony Ryan Auld from season two, they will coming back has judges this time around.
The popular actress should feel right at home in the fashion-world, Milano herself has a successful accessory and fashion line. The new series comes at a perfect time for Milano, who is also kicking off her new scripted series on ABC called ‘Mistresses’. That show premiers this month, and is based of the very popular U.K. series of the same name. In the new series four friends find support and guidance with each other as they brave their turbulent journeys and life’s storms of excitement, secrecy and betrayal, all the while bound by the complex relationships they’ve created.
